Ran the inaugural 1/2 marathon in the ancient city, St. Augustine, Florida. Wake time 3 am for a 6:15 start. Temp close mid 60 at start and climbed throughout the morning. The course started at the Bridge of Lions and wound around A1A and thru Anistasia Park. The view of the Atlantic was spectacular. Took some aminos and endurance caps at miles 4 & 8, and gels at 5 and 9 mi mark. Ran our hearts out!

and yes, I got a medal too! Good Luck to all those running the Outback 1/2 tomorrow and Happy Thanksgiving!
